Come spend a long weekend in a lovely craftsman bungalow tucked away in the North Carolina Mountains near Lake Lure and Black Mountain. This family-friendly home, built in 2005, has 4 bedroons and 3 baths, satellite TV, a well-stocked kitchen, and a spa tub in the master bath. Once you arrive, check out the guest book...adventures abound! MargEva and Stephen have gone to great lengths to make touring the area a breeze with detailed maps and suggested activities. If you prefer to stick close to home, the house is located on a 300 acre conservation tract of woodlands, streams and waterfalls and is well-stocked with board games. Wildlife can be observed from the porch, and there are walking trails and a swimming pond easily accessible from the house. The house is located 20 minutes from Lake Lure, 30 minutes from Chimney Rock, 45 minutes from Black Mountain and an hour from Asheville. Schedule with the owners for mutually convenient time. Not available during most holidays.

Well furnished and extremely comfortable, this house has a popular reverse floor plan showcasing stunning ocean views. Four bedrooms, each with French doors opening to the ocean, and 3 full baths, it sleeps 10 maximum (king master with Jacuzzi, 2 queens, 2 bunk beds, and 4 singles in a kid's room). The kitchen is well-stocked and the dining room features a large table for 8 people and 3 bar stools at the kitchen counter. An added dune deck is ideal for drinks at sunset with family and friends and the ocean is warm through early October.
